Roller hockey wheel hardness or durometer should be decided on factors like a player's weight, skill level and playing surface. The higher the durometer rating, the harder the wheel. For example +2 wheels (similar to an 80A wheel hardness) are built for players up to 104.5kg while +0 wheels (similar to 76A hardness) are designed for players up to 90.8kgs. More advanced players can also benefit from harder wheels since they can utilize the extra rebound and speed.
