The Bauer X boasts thick foams and plastic inserts in key impact areas, such as the bicep and forearm, for strategic coverage. Bauer used their unique split elbow cap and independent bicep designs to provide mobility typically reserved for more expensive pads. Both of these features not only help promote better range of motion but they prevent gaps in protection by keeping the pads in place during dynamic movements. Internally, the Bauer X utilizes thick medium density foams for comfort and impact absorption. It is then topped with hydrophobic mesh that is very soft to the touch and does a good job of wicking away moisture too.

BAUER ELBOW PAD SIZING GUIDELINES

With your arm bent at a 90° angle, measure the length from the back of the elbow to the wrist crease. Correspond your arm measurement to an elbow pad size using the table below. If you are in between two sizes, you can choose to go with the smaller size for a better range of motion and a more snug fit. Going larger will provide you with a little more coverage in protection and more volume in the fit.
