Hockey Gloves

CCM introduces their lightweight and mobile Jetspeed FT485 hockey gloves. This updated Jetspeed glove takes the features from the previous generation and improves them in a modern design that offers great protection while being comfortable and looking good.

The CCM Jetspeed FT485 Hockey Glove’s shell is constructed of Pro-quality mesh and lightweight polyester. These durable gloves are designed to hold up in the high wear and high impact areas while still allowing for adequate airflow to keep your hands cool and dry during a game. The Jetspeed FT485 gloves will feature a simpler, more anatomical back roll design ideal for competitive play. This will give a good level of mobility with your hands. The cuff has also been redesigned to be a shorter, pre angled one piece cuff allowing for unrestricted wrist movements, augmented flexibility, and protection.

Offering great and lightweight protection, the backhand and fingers of the CCM Jetspeed FT485 gloves will feature a base layer of high-density PE foam and PE inserts. These foams and inserts are key in giving you the best impact absorption possible. Add to that the two-piece segmented fingers for great dexterity and you have a lightweight, mobile, and protective glove.

Giving the players a better feel and more control is key for the Jetspeed FT485 Gloves. To achieve this CCM is using a soft nash palm with embossed abrasion reinforcement. This palm will give you a soft feel to help with stick control and will have enhanced durability. They will also be incorporating a Pro flex thumb in the senior gloves to deliver a wide range of motion and increased grip on your stick.

Internally, the Jetspeed FT485 gloves will be lined with laminated PU cushion foam that will provide a soft breathable feel that helps wick away moisture.

For competitive players looking for a protective and mobile glove to give them great control and lightweight protection, check out the new CCM Jetspeed FT485 Hockey Gloves.

A precise hockey glove fit is important to provide ultimate hand protection and a comfortable grip. If you choose a glove that’s too small, you risk exposing your forearm between the cuff of the glove and your elbow pad, as well as potentially allowing your fingers to extend past the protective surface on the top of the glove. This increases the chance of injury if you are hit by a stray puck or slashed at with a stick. If you choose a glove that is too big, the joints in your fingers may not align with the splits in the glove finger stalls that promote flex as you grip the stick.

Start by measuring the distance between the base of your palm and the top of your middle finger, then take that number and double it. This will give you accurate, proper hockey glove sizing. For example, if your measurement is 7”, you should purchase 14” hockey gloves. If you measure 7.5”, look for size 15 hockey gloves.
